Guest: “Process Improvement is like personal training for business.”
Guest: “Play to the strengths of the individuals that you have and their skills and their passion and then start to incrementally develop their skills to help them to get even better at what they love doing.”

Episode 16: Saving Millions by Avoiding Compliance Penalties with Acia Stankova at PPD
Date: 1 November 2022
Hosted by: Jimmy Hewitt, Sr. Automation Advisor, sponsored by Salient Process
Guest: Acia Stankova, Business Transformation Lead at PPD, a Thermo Fisher Company
During Opex (World Annual Operational Excellence & Business Transformation Summit), Host Jimmy Hewitt had the amazing opportunity to sit down with Acia Stankova, Manager of Business Transformation at PPD, a Thermo Fisher Scientific Company. Tune in to hear Acias story, the amount of tangible business value that is tied to employee satisfaction, and more!
Guest: “[Employees] have the answers. They just maybe don’t have the way of presenting it. So, we sit, we map what we have, we show the difference in what [the employees] want to do, and we run it by the leadership and [hear] ‘Mmm that’s a great idea.’ It’s the small things…We do the small things. We make the little guys happy, and when they’re happy, they do their best. They give their 200%....and we all win.”
Guest: “I think sometimes we are short-sighted. We just concentrate on the money because you’re going to put this Band-Aid on, but you’re never going to fix the problem in its depths.”
Guest: “It’s a lot of money as a non-value-added penalty…and in the frustration… that’s what’s also intangible to quantify, but it’s amazing for the people.”

Turn $20k into $250k Every Year using IBM RPA with Tim Goff
Tuesday Aug 23, 2022
Tuesday Aug 23, 2022
Episode 11: Turn $20k into $250k Every Year using IBM RPA with Tim Goff
Date: 23 August 2022
Hosted by: Jimmy Hewitt, Sr. Automation Advisor, sponsored by Salient Process
Guest: Tim Goff, CEO/Founder of GForce Software.
If there are any FedEx Ground companies out there looking to automate their business like Tim, check his platform out here: https://mygroundforce.com/
This episode of Bots & Thoughts dives into how IBM RPA has helped automate the middle and back-office work for FedEx Ground Linehaul Contractors. Special Guest Tim Goff, CEO and Founder of GForce Software, and our host, Jimmy Hewitt, discuss how automation maximizes performance, quality of life, profitability, and more.
Host: “The power of automation – isn’t that a beautiful thing?”
Host: “Hyperautomation can help you separate your growth curve from your cost curve.”
Guest: “If you're not measuring what's going on in your business, you cannot manage it.”
Guest: “It's not to quit doing that work, but to do that work more efficiently and repurpose that headcount into doing things that are more valuable.”
Guest: "From the standpoint of what automation has done for me, it's certainly saved me tons of money, there's no question about that. But what it has also done, is it has improved my quality of life. A whole bunch of time that I used to spend grinding on numbers to get some information that I needed to run my business, I can now choose how I spend that time…and some of that time is spent on improving my quality of life. So, I would encourage senior leaders to understand that you're not just automating minutes and repurposing employees...You're also maximizing the value of your time."
